Data Policy for Sailors Logbook

 

This policy describes how we do collect data from the user of the application and how we process them.

 

What kinds of information is used inside the app?

We collect information provided by the device as time and position.

We collect information entered by the user e.g. name and type of yacht, name of crew members and additional information provided by the user.

 

All information about your sailing trips is stored only inside the app and only on your device.

There is no automatic data exchange with any server outside.

 

How do we store these data?

All data are stored in a local database. They are not sent to any server in background.

 

How do we process these data?

The user can create a PDF file and store it on the device.

The user can also share these PDF files with others.

 

Device information

We do not collect any data about your device.

 

In-App Purchase

Creating logbooks is free for a limited time. Longer trips must be purchased in the app.

The purchase process is done via Google Play or Apples App Store. These companies might collect your personal data.

 

 

Communicate with us!

We are interested in your feedback and any reports about your experiences with Sailors Logbook. Any communication must be outside of the app, e.g. via email
